Salary – Band 5, £24,360 - £25,353 (Increasing to £24,558 - £25,560 from September 2023, following a transitional pay award period)
Location - Working across Alnwick, Berwick, and Hexham
Hours - Full time 37 hours, Monday – Friday between 08:45 – 17:15
You’ll be covering Alnwick, Berwick, and Hexham as and when needed, so you’ll need a driving licence and your own transport. In addition to this you will receive fuel expenses.

What will I be doing?
- Engaging with members of public through a variety of different ways, whether it be face to face on the station front desk, via the 101-telephone line or digitally, to help resolve issues and report incidents
- Navigating our internal systems to ensure correct reporting of such events/ incidents
- Managing deliveries, including post & stationary etc
- Working within our agreed timescales to make sure our service is effective
- Supporting other areas of the Force where appropriate
- General administrative duties
What do I need?
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- The ability to build good relationships quickly
- Strong planning and organisation skills as well as the ability to prioritise key tasks
- Computer skills and a quick learner when using new systems
- Effective team player, able to support others but also work alone when required
- A high level of professionalism and integrity
