It’s a newly created role in their sea freight department with a focus on building customer relationships and managing customer communication.
- Manage and update the portal along with any customer reports
- Tracking vessels and updating multi-freight, keeping customers up to date with any changes
- Manage Demurrage and Detention keeping customers informed
- Manage job costings ensuring the correct rates are applied and new rate cards are issued as the rates change
- Weekly customer calls checking on any upcoming bookings, unresolved issues or queries keeping their finger on the pulse of the customer base updating the one liner report
- Looking for opportunities to grow the existing customer base
