At AXA Partners, we have an exciting full time, permanent opportunity for a Customer Service Claims Handler to join our hard-working Dedicated Services Team. As we strive to give our employee’s work/life balance, this role involves a mixture of home and office working with your base office located in Redhill.

As a Customer Service and Claims Handler, you will report to our Dedicated Services Manager. On a daily basis you will be part of the team reviewing car hire and excess claims as well as inbound calls relating to the sale of our motor breakdown policies. On a daily basis you will be assigned different tasks within the team.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, hard working team player who has great customer service skills both on the phone and with written communications. You'll receive an extra £500 for any additional languages you may speak as we handle claims for customers all over the world.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Our core working hours are full time, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm excluding bank holidays.

We always put the Customer First in everything we do so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them. You’ll deliver excellent customer service by ensuring all claims are properly processed, documented and dealt with in a timely, professional manner via telephone and email.

In the course of your duties, you must adhere to all internal policies and procedures, focusing on the needs of the customer and ensuring fair treatment at all times. Finally, we see ourselves as one big team, One AXA and you’ll be responsible for working as an effective team player. You will have strong communication skills both verbal and written, whilst being excellent at building solid working relationships based on Integrity and trust.


Your Profile

  • English written and spoken language skills.
  • Additional Language written and spoken skills welcomed (European).
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to strict internal deadlines.
  • Keen to learn new skills, willing to be flexible and adapt as processes and the Company change.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently, taking responsibility for your own workload.
  • Willing to take on new tasks at short notice.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
