Smarte Carte Ltd is a leading business partner at Bristol Airport. Our services include Baggage Trolley Management, Lost Property, MailandFly, Wrapping and left luggage. Our aim is to provide the best quality passenger experience to all customers using any of our services. The team is currently going through an exciting period of growth and consequently, a number of flexible vacancies have arisen for Customer Service Associate roles.
The role
We are looking for energetic, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our growing team as Customer Service Associates in both full and part-time roles. We offer a competitive hourly rate above the national minimum wage. Previous experience in Customer Service would be desirable but full training will be provided to the right candidates.
There are some important things to know before you apply. Our opening hours are between 4am – 11pm each day. Shift patterns vary between these hours and are based on a rota system. Smarte Carte is a 24-7-364 operation, so weekends & bank holidays work is required. Please be mindful of this before submitting your application.
Job description and responsibilities
As Customer Service Associate your responsibilities may include:
- Collecting trolleys and filling up trolley bays
- Providing a luggage wrapping service
- Provide Porter Services for passengers
- Collecting Mail & Fly items from security search and entering onto a database
- Collecting lost property items from security control.
- Handling customer enquiries.
- Dealing with phone calls and text messages for the pre-arranged collection of items.
- Handling pre arranged collections of items for customers following strict processes.
- Bag wrapping and left luggage sales.

Essential:
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Basic IT skills
- You must be physically able as the role involves periods of walking and manoeuvring of baggage trolleys
The nice to have:
- Experience in a similar Customer Service environment
- Experience of using credit card machines and cash handling (although training will be provided)
