Customer Service Assistant
SPAR Chagford, Devon Store
Our SPAR convenience stores are more than just a local shop and as a member of our team, you will have a really important role to play in delighting our customers and positively contributing to the local community and the running of our business. We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to cover various shifts which may include mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Therefore, if you have a passion for retail and customer service, we have the right job for you!
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to build trusted relationships with colleagues and customers.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to work positively as part of a team to achieve results.
- Excellent time keeping and flexibility to work a range of shifts.
- Well presented, SPAR brand ambassador.

- Flexibility to work shifts which may include early starts, late finishes or weekends.
- Successful completion of the probationary period will require you to pass P250 check.

Hourly rates of pay: £10.42 per hour (aged 23 +), £10.18 per hour (aged 21-22), £7.49 per hour (aged 18-20)
