Role Are you looking for a full time job to work over the summer months? Our client based on the Westwood Business Park, close to the University of Warwick, are looking for Summer Customer Service Assistants to work in their call centre for their busy season. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 in 2 Saturdays, from 09:00 - 13:00, for which overtime will be paid at 1.5x normal salary. This role is due to start on the 24th July and will run until the 8th September. We are looking for 3 staff and this is a full time in the office role. Duties and responsibilities This is an inbound call centre position and you will be helping with booking and answering queries for people looking to book holidays. You will be helping to take payments over the phone. You will be dealing with general enquiries about the various locations across the network You may need to escalate to a team leader who will be situated on the desk next to you. You will also be responding to customer emails through a shared mailbox. Skills and experience We are looking for people who have the right attitude as the key skill. If you have previous call centre/customer service, this is a positive. You will be dealing with lots of calls and will need to have excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable with computers, including Microsoft packages. Full training will be provided for all candidates. This a role that will repeat each year in the summer so there is an opportunity for work next summer as well for the right candidates. Location Westwood Business Park, Coventry Additional information Due to the short term nature of the role, you should not have any pre booked holidays where possible. We are looking to conduct interviews on either Tuesday 18th or Thursday 20th July and these will be in person. University of Warwick
