Due to growth at the Melton, we have a fantastic opportunity for two Customer Service Assistant’s to join our Savings Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a process driven, team player with exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
You will be responsible for providing a first class, friendly and knowledgeable service for everyone who contacts the Society. Taking ownership of their queries and building strong relationships, you will help customers with their finances by understanding their needs and pointing them towards the right products or services.
About the position
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for:
· Conduct outbound calling to maintain customer service and generate new business opportunities.
· Providing excellent customer service, keeping our promises and proactively following up on all enquiries.
· Completing customer transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
· Providing quality referrals and opportunities to help customers with their financial needs through an engaging conversation.
· Supporting the Melton’s brand to attract, acquire and retain customers.
· Work as a team, providing support, mentoring and developing other team members.
· Execute your activities within the agreed SLA’s
· Ensuring that all correspondence is noted with accurate, insightful information in a timely manner.
· Achieving a right first-time approach to avoid making errors and maintaining good quality control.
· Adhering to cash/cheque control, audit and security standards.

· Customer Service experience is essential.
· Previous experience within the Financial Services industry is ideal but not essential.
