Hertford Regional College are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to work as part of a Customer Service team within our lively Information Centre, providing impartial information, advice and guidance to students, prospective students.
The role holder will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the College across campus and provide a full range of Reception & Information Centre services whilst providing a high level of customer care. You will also work as part of an Admissions Team, to administer the admissions process, provide impartial admissions and financial support advice to students and prospective students and enrol students onto courses.
To be successful in the role you will be great at delivering an exceptional customer experience having worked in a customer service environment, preferably within an educational setting. You will also have proven ability to provide information and advice and be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, to understand the needs of our customers. You will need to work supportively and effectively with others, including team members, colleagues and external agencies with a can do attitude. Having a Level 2/3 qualification in customer care or guidance is desirable.

Hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.45pm (Fri 4.30pm)
Salary: £20,540 - £21,900 p. a. depending on qualifications and experience
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum plus all public and bank holidays
