Job Description
As a Customer Service Agent your main responsibilities will be:
- Answering inbound calls and enquiries.
- Providing practical advice and suitable items for different applications.
- Processing customer orders.
- Using excel to update an orders outstanding spreadsheet to allow you the ease of checking which orders haven't had a date confirmed back from the relevant company.
- Keeping customers informed of changes to orders such as dispatch dates.
- Dealing with worldwide company factories to get best possible delivery times and prices.
- Always maintain a high level of customer service.
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful Customer Service Agent:
- Need to be a team player in order to help the department run smoothly and help cover each others roles.
- Essential that candidate is well accustomed to being an independent problem solver and is capable of using of available resources around them to help solve customer questions.
- Excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role.
- Professional attitude and response towards customers.
- Experience in a call centre environment.
