Customer Service Team Member – Permanent Position
£22,789, 37hrs, 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday 9am to 4.30pm

Certass Ltd is a well-established Certification Body and Awarding Organisation, whose reputation is known in the marketplace for its friendly and helpful staff. We are a customer focused organisation with several thousand construction contractors as members. We provide consumers with the assurance that member contractors are capable of carrying out work in the areas which we certify them.
What you’ll be doing
The primary focus is to deliver a great customer experience to our customers and consumers. The role’s main focus is to deal with incoming phone, live-chat and email communication to and from our new & existing members and consumers, with associated administrative duties using our online CRM system. The role is busy, diverse, and varied and requires that you have an ability to learn all scheme requirements and varied member related information.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a customer focused approach where their existing role has transferable skills in customer care. A good telephone manner is essential, and you must have a friendly disposition with an ability to put our customers at ease. You must also have good written communication skills. You will be required to multi-task as part of the role ensuring telephone calls are accurately and concisely logged into our CRM system. Full training on systems and company documentation will be provided.
What are we paying?
We are an accredited Living Wage Foundation employer, the annual salary is £22,789. You will also receive the benefit of our employer contribution pension scheme. Holiday entitlement is 29 days plus bank holidays. Shopping discounts, health and metal health platform provided by Pirkx.
Where will you be working?
This is a home-based role; you must therefore have a suitable workspace and internet access within your home. The company will provide an Apple laptop and head set for its internet-based phone system.
