You will be a key member of the team, a direct point of contact to our customers ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained.
Skills Required:
Good communication skills
Excellent phone manner
Good written English skills
Ability to balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business
Happy, upbeat character with a positive ‘can-do’ approach
Proven track record in recognising and dealing with difficult customers
Resolve customer issues quickly before they lead to negative comments and reviews
Be able to publicly comment on negative reviews and comments while remaining respectful and professional at all times.
Helpful Skills:
Experience working with online retailers
Good working knowledge of Gnatta
Good working knowledge of review services such as TrustPilot and eKomi
Familiar with payment platforms such as Braintree, SagePay and PayPal
Good working knowledge of consumer rights legislation
Duties:
Answer email, online chat and phone inbound and outbound enquiries which will include:
Customers looking to place orders.
Customers looking for help and advice with products
Customers looking to return items for replacement
Customers looking to complain
Book, receive and check returns
Other Duties:
Some additional admin duties from time to time and we all occasionally help packing in the warehouse at exceptionally busy times

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
Holiday:
20 days a year plus Bank Holidays.
Salary:
£22,000 to £25,000 subject to experience.

SolarCentre is a highly driven, creative and dynamic company that prefers a relaxed and informal working environment. We are based in Coldharbour Lane in Harpenden where a large office space that can easily accommodate social distancing requirements. We have a Sainsbury's food delivery each week and we encourage all staff to add any snacks or drinks they like to the shopping list.
