Base Location: Portsmouth or Melksham
Salary: £26,609 - £30,472 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time (8am - 4pm) | Flexible working options available - Hybrid working
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team on a permanent contract!
As a Customer Service Advisor within the team, you will be dealing with a wide range of customers via phone or email. You will be guiding customers through the electricity connection journey after acceptance, completing follow up calls and final calls when the work is completed.
We are looking for customer-focused individuals with great communication skills
As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellence in customer support and guidance through the delivery of minor connections, service alterations and single service diversions.
- Guiding customers through the connections journey post acceptance, completing follow up calls and final calls on completion of work.
- Managing of all inbound calling assisting with any customer related queries.
- Recording all queries and milestones correctly using the SSEN reporting tools, ensuring guaranteed standards and service level agreements are met.
- Ensuring customers are kept informed during each step of the process, whilst managing their expectations in line with Time To Connect guidelines and ensuring the customer is ready for the work.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Excellent customer service skills including complaint handing (written and verbal).
- Awareness and understanding of SSE Connections methodology and licensing conditions which relate to connections activities.
- Ability to effectively prioritise, plan and organise;
- I.T. literate being comfortable with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Office.
