I am looking for the next Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Contact Centre in Newport. You will be the first point of contact for calls coming into Public Sector Prisons within England and Wales. You will provide information from the internal database such as “How do I book a visit” or “What items can I post to the Prison.”

Our working patterns are a 4 day working week Monday - Friday. 9.5 hour shifts, 4 days a week and one non-working day. Days and shifts rotate over 8 weeks between 0700-2000. Overtime when available.

What you'll be doing:
- Answer all incoming/outgoing calls in line with current service level agreements
- Processing the relevant information and call details to ensure right communication and log these details onto SSCLs internal system
- Be customer focused at all times ensuring that excellent customer service is provided on all calls.
- Take ownership of customer queries, comments, feedback and complaints.
- Work as part of a strong team to deliver results during peak times
