The role: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Corby

Salary: £21,089.25 increasing to £22,751 within the first year of employment

Permanent Vacancies available:

Day shift rotation

Hours: 8am-4pm /10-6 Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays & 1 in 8 Sundays.

Weekends worked, you will get the time back in Lieu.

4 on 4 off

Hours: 8am – 6pm for 4 days, then 4 days off. With 1.5 hours break per day.

All roles are Hybrid. After your 7 weeks of training, you will work 2 weeks in the office then 2 weeks from home.


All equipment, ie phone, screen, keyboard, mouse, even office chair if required will be supplied.


The Role

Working for a leading manufacturer, our client is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join their existing team.

You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service through handling customer enquiries via inbound telephone calls for the service we offer. Initially this will be booking engineer visits with the view of adding additional service skills of the below in the near future

Key Responsibilities

  • Registering appliance warranties; Offering extended warranties; Identifying and ordering spare parts and accessories
  • Providing and assisting with troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of an appliance
  • Providing pre-purchase advice and replacement appliances.
  • You will ensure that telephone calls are handled promptly, efficiently and meet their Call and Quality Targets.
  • With strong communication skills you will maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers in addition to the companies contact centres in other countries.
  • You will also adhere to GDPR legislation and ensure full confidentiality at all times.


The Candidate

  • A customer service background is required; you will also need to have strong telephone communication skills, be costumer focussed and able to demonstrate empathy
  • Accuracy, flexibility and the ability to problem solve will be necessary in this role
  • The ability to work as an individual whilst contributing to the overall success of the team is paramount
  • You will also need to be computer literate, able to work under pressure and be self-motivated
