Job Title: Customer Service Advisor – Contact Centre
Shifts available:
Shift 1: 4 days on 4 days off 8am-2pm, 21 hours per week.
Shift 2: 4 days on 4 days off 8am-6pm, 33.25 hours per week.
Shift 3: 4 days on 4 days off 10am-8pm on weekdays (8am-6pm on weekends), 33.25 hours per week.
Shift 4: 4 days on 4 days off 11am-9pm on weekdays (9am-7pm on weekends), 33.25 hours per week.
Start dates from approx. February/March 2023.
Salary: Base pay £10.22 per hour, plus an additional £1 per hour for working weekends and performance bonus of up to 6% per year.
Location: Onsite based in our contact centre in Doncaster, Armthorpe, DN3 3FQ

About You

This could be sorting out a missing parcel or an account query but you’ll put the customer first.
There is also an opportunity to join the NEXT Total Platform team, our newest collaboration is with JoJo Maman Bebe and as part of this team you will be employed by NEXT whilst supporting our JoJo Maman Bebe customers.
Total Platform gives partner brands our NEXT technology, expertise, knowledge and exceptional customer service skills in order to better serve their customers. Currently, our Total Platform partnerings are with Childsplay Clothing, Laura Ashley, Victoria’s Secret, Reiss and Gap and this is still growing!
This is a unique customer service role as there are no sales targets; you’ll purely be measured on the service you deliver so you can focus entirely on giving truly outstanding customer service. It has never been a more exciting time to join the NEXT Online family.
We are looking for people who are as passionate about customer service as we are. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have worked in a call centre before – we are looking for people who thrive in helping people whether this has been in retail or hospitality. We provide 5 weeks of in-depth, full time paid training to ensure you know everything you need to know to resolve our customer enquiries.
You’ll also be required to:
- Give exceptional customer service by truly listening to the customer and resolving their queries
- Treat every customer like it’s your first and only customer that day
- Navigate through various computer systems, liaise with other teams across NEXT if required
- Work to set Key Performance Indicators and Standard Level Agreements.
- Engage with customers and colleagues, creating a people focused work culture.
*During our peak trading periods you’ll also be required to work an additional 4 or 6 hours for 20 weeks of the year.
