Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an E-commerce Customer Service Advisor for one of our well-established clients based in Oldbury. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all customers are receiving a high standard of service and to assist them with their deliveries.
Hours of work Monday to Friday 08.30am – 4.30pm
Salary £23k-£25k depending on experience.
Main Duties
- Receive in coming queries from customers via telephone, email, live chat, and social media and shopify.
- Update customers on their deliveries and provide a timely and satisfactory outcome where possible.
- Liaise with courier partners, logistics, warehouse, and other departments.
- Solving customer requests and offering details on products.
- Arrange returns, refunds, replacements of missing or damaged items.
- Manage all stock control and back orders, ensure customers are kept up to date with order progress.
- Analyse and lookout for fraudulent orders
- Interact with customers efficiently and with empathy.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service environment – ideally e-commerce or furniture/ and/or interiors
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Shopify experience
- Have the ability work on your own initiative.
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages and Google Sheets
- Problem solver and willing to go the extra mile.
- Sage 500 experience but not essential
