Customer Services Advisor
Based at our state-of-the-art head office and distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for over 150 years proudly serving communities across the north of England as supplier and distributor to over 600 SPAR stores.

Hours
38 hours per week over 4 days. Between the hours of 6.00am - 6.30pm. Includes around 1 in 7 full weekend
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our brand-new inhouse team of customer service helpdesk advisors here at James Hall & Co. Our aim is to provide and deliver a fantastic service to our current and potential retailers as well as suppliers and the public. The role will also include an out of hours support service that will be delegated out on a rota basis.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
You will provide excellent first line support by dealing with customer issues, enquiries and complaints keeping customer satisfaction at the core of everything you do.
You will help to problem solve incidents, provide prompt updates and speedy resolutions. You will walk customers through the problem-solving process, following up to ensure resolution and full customer satisfaction. Other duties and responsibilities include
Dealing with all inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner- Use problem solving skills to attempt to resolve incidents where possible
- Communicate with customers and internal teams using Email, Microsoft Teams, Telephone and Face to Face
- Accurately record and manage incidents, including liaising with internal and 3rd party teams and providing prompt updates to users
- Help establish us as a company known for excellent customer service
