Farmfoods is seeking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join us in our Birmingham, Yardley office on a Full-Time basis.
Role Summary
Farmfoods are a family business who pride ourselves on offering our customers great value, quality products from clean and tidy shops with the friendliest team in retail. We have a real focus on delivering an ‘old fashioned’, genuine and friendly customer experience.
The Customer Service department is an essential part of our business and as a Customer Service Advisor you will be required to support your team in all aspects of their daily operations including; answering telephone queries and complaints from customers and shops, responding to emails, postal duties, accurate record keeping and reporting.
You will be required to work from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. You will also work one Saturday approximately every three weeks (for which you will receive a day in lieu).
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, great organisation skills, be a confident communicator, be able to work at a fast pace under pressure whilst having excellent time keeping, ensuring any given deadlines are hit. A positive, “can do” attitude is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint would also be beneficial.
As well as dealing with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and customers, the office is also home to many of the company’s directors and senior management team. The successful candidate must be comfortable and confident engaging with people at all levels of seniority.
We expect the successful candidate to have a good academic record, including grade B/C (6/5) in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
If you do not possess academic qualifications at this level but feel confident you can demonstrate the skills listed above and that you can prove you have the drive and work ethic to succeed in this position, we would still love to hear from you.

- Salary: £21,000 - £22,500 (dependent on experience)
