Our approach to flexible working
We care about work that works, whether that’s about where you work or adjusting your hours to fit better with your life. Our flexible working practices, including our hybrid working model where you can split your working time between the office and your home, support our belief that this balance brings long-lasting benefits for our business as well as ensuring that our people can balance successful careers with their commitments and interests outside of work. So that you can love where you work, please discuss what works for you with your recruiter during the hiring process.
Accepting you, for you.
We want you to feel accepted for who you are and to feel safe, valued and to help us build a culture of true belonging. Experian is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and we take affirmative action to create a more inclusive and equitable world of work. We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, ethnicity, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, Veteran status or whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.
We are currently recruiting for a crucial Customer Service Executive position within our Background Checking team, based out of our Nottingham office. This is a great opportunity to be part of an integral team within Experian and to advance both your customer service and administration skills, as well as starting on a career path that offers fantastic career progression and learning opportunities.
You will ideally have a strong track record of excellent customer service skills, which you will combine with outstanding communication skills to support our clients and customers throughout their employment screening journey.
You will be responsible for conducting a number of the component parts of the employment screening process, which will allow you to build your confidence and understanding of multiple screening methods including contacting clients, candidates and referees by telephone, email and live chat to gain required information. Working closely with your team, you will blend together a natural ability for problem solving and a keen eye for detail and making accurate decisions.
We are offering the chance for you to build a career within the Customer Services sector, working alongside a friendly team where you will learn new skills and have the opportunity to work your way up within a renowned business.
Could this role be for you?
We’re looking for someone with a proven Customer Service background or someone who has had a previous customer facing role, dealing with customers on a daily basis either face to face or through another medium such as inbound telephone calls.
We’re after a team player with very strong communication skills, someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and who can stay organised and self-motivated to meet deadlines.
Everyone has different experience, and so please don’t rule yourself out if you cannot ‘tick’ all of the qualities mentioned above. Talk to us about the experience that you do have.
