Derby Arena is recognised as an iconic regional complex for sport, culture and entertainment. Our aim is to inspire more people to be physically and culturally active.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Customer Service Advisor to assist with the daily front desk operations of Derby Arena. The successful candidate will be the face of Derby Arena, a multi-functional venue dealing with a variety of customers and enquiries in a sports, events and sales environment. The role entails a variety of admin tasks, taking payments and processing paperwork as well as communicating with customers and taking bookings in person, over the phone and email. You will play a vital role in helping achieve membership sales targets and assisting with sales retention and lead generation.
Experience in working in a customer service and sports centre environment would be advantageous.
All employees will normally be appointed to the minimum of the grade for the job. For reasons connected with a particular need of the Council it may be appropriate, subject to approval, to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade.
