The Customer Service Centre is at the front end of our services providing the first point of contact for the majority of our customer queries. We firmly believe this provides a better, more responsive service to the public.
You should be customer focused and want to help with the continual development of this busy Centre. During initial training, customer contact will be mainly on the phone. As your knowledge increases you will cover face to face services at Bodicote House. Duties will also include e-mail and written correspondence.
You will be the first point of customer contact, processing and resolving enquiries covering a wide range of council services. The customer service advisors are required to seek and interpret complex information, provide advice and be willing to research when necessary to resolve challenging problems.

The Person
You will be well organised, and have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. Previous customer service experience is essential along with good communication skills and a good sense of humour. To succeed in this challenging role, you must be flexible and able to demonstrate the skills necessary to work under pressure within a team environment.
