At Santander within Customer Sales & Support, we put the customer at the heart of every decision and customer interaction.
In this fast paced, back-office role, you’ll be helping customers behind the scenes dealing with Bank account switchers, ISA transfers and Credit card servicing as well investigating complex queries relating to everyday banking issues. No two days are the same, giving you the chance to develop a variety of skills.
You’ll be part of a close-knit, passionate team at the heart of giving our customers a fantastic experience by administering processes across a wide range of Banking and savings accounts. You’ll also work on exception handling, dealing with more complicated matters that cannot be dealt with by our 3rd party supplier.

The difference you’ll make.
Ensuring the accurate processing of transactions (via letter, email, and telephone)
Handling and resolving exception cases referred from the 3rd party supplier.
Using your own initiative to resolve queries / issues through established frameworks and procedures (with a focus on more complex processes and ad hoc tasks)
Seeking to meet and exceed customer expectations without impacting further costs to the business.
Being pro-active in identifying ways to make process improvements.
Identifying issues and proactively following through to resolution.
What you’ll bring.
Prior administrative experience, including free format letter writing, in a fast paced, high volume back-office environment.
An understanding of Banking and Savings & ISA’s
You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience in the fulfilment of bank account openings or closures.
Exposure to complex queries and exception handling.
Ability to understand and conform to strict processes and routines.
Great attention to detail and Numerical skills.

This is a permanent role based in Bradford, and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office.
You will work 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

Right to work in the UK.
