As Customer / Sales Support Specialist, you will be joining a fast-paced and busy environment, working alongside some inspiring talent within Hitachi Energy. You'll be responsible for organising events, from confirming the event, booking attendees, reporting, creating purchase orders and communicating effectively internally and externally to ensure the events are promoted.
You will report into the Executive Assistant to the CEO, supporting in ad hoc activities and managing the full onboarding of future talent into the business. This is a permanent full-time role which offers a wide range of work activities, allowing you to truly be yourself and thrive.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding and offboarding of Front End Sales (FES) and Corporate team.
Take ownership of the business card ordering process for the organisation.
Take ownership of PPE ordering for FES and Corporate teams.
Provide ad hoc support to Executive Assistant (EA) as required.
Take ownership of the events booking process, creating a shared calendar of events which include GIR/FES and CMD events.
Identify industry related events the team could attend within the external market to promote Hitachi Energy.
Co-ordinate the submission of papers prior to an event as appropriate.
Identify industry related awards to apply for and co-ordinate the application process.
Raise appropriate Purchase Order requests linked to events.
Organize event logistics, before and after the event.
Your Background:
Proven experience working within events and in a busy environments.
Positive attitude, self-motivated with the ability to multi task.
Highly organised with a proactive approach.
Confident communication skills, able to organise events and communicate effectively with the business.
Excellent team work and collaborative approach.
Experience in using Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams.
Able to travel to events and sites when required.
