Greenlight Web is a dynamic digital marketing agency based in Manchester with offices in Daresbury, Alderley Edge & Stevenage as part of the Greenlight Computers Group.

Greenlight Web specialises in marketing Life Science, University Spinout and niche B2B businesses in the UK. We have a strong team of Design, Development, SEO and Social Media skills deployed on a growing client base and are looking to supplement the team with a customer facing relationship manager.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly motivated, high performing Relationship Manager or Business Development Manager to work as a team player in our growing and innovative agency. We have an excellent track record of providing digital marketing services to our clients with ambitions to accelerate the growth in 2023 and beyond.

A strong communicator capable of gaining the attention of busy decision makers, an individual who can accentuate the features and benefits of our products and ultimately recognise clear buying signals with a view to closing deals and maintaining excellent relationships.

We set our team up for success by fully investing in them with product sales training and mentoring to suit their needs. We believe in a happy and motivated workforce, and we strive to create a high energy, very inspiring and highly rewarding environment.

Working as part of a larger team you will be provided with access to all the technology required to succeed in the role and build a long-term career.

This role will report direct to the CEO.

TRAINING

You will be provided with:

  • Time to build your knowledge of the team and their strengths.
  • A training plan to maintain or enhance your existing knowledge of modern digital marketing techniques.
  • Consultative sales training with the CEO support.
  • Access to our intranet system.
  • Access to and training on our CRM system Harvest.
  • Teams access for daily updates and monthly incentives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build key relationships to our existing clients.
  • Research, develop and qualify leads to populate sales funnel.
  • Discuss and promote marketing strategies with clients and prospects.
  • Design, price and deliver exceptional proposals to clients.
  • Work with the CEO and team to build future sales campaigns.
  • Create accurate client information onto our CRM system.
  • Maintain clear notes and ensure details are updated regularly.
  • Distribute a weekly business development report keeping the whole team informed.
  • Proactively optimise your pipeline to ensure we exceed revenue targets.
  • Proactively identify and suggest business improvements in line with the future needs of your clients, keep us at the front of the pack.

ABOUT YOU

  • It is not essential to have sales experience for this role, the right drive, ambition and work ethic is more important.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and a passion to keep developing.
  • A built-in ability to think in the customers shoes and empathise with their goals.
  • A natural communicator and team player with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Organised and capable of completing detail accurately.
  • Be tenacious and a highly motivated self-starter.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Educated up to degree level.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • It would also be desirable if you had a background in one of our client sectors.
