Customer Experience Rep and Barista
Village Juicery is Toronto’s leading producer of organic, plant-based food and juice. Our mission is to increase access to healthy, plant-based goods to our GTA community.
We’re on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic Customer Experience Rep and Barista to join our growing family. The Customer Experience Rep and Barista is responsible for effectively educating and promoting our products for our Longo's Locations and other partners in the future. The primary focus will be to drive sales by educating the community while maintaining relationships with existing customers, detailing insights and preparing feedback to share with our wholesale team. Candidates for this position should be passionate about nutrition, have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated to succeed in a competitive industry and a willingness to grow with the company.
Location: Village - Longo's Partnership at Yonge and Sheppard
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting Village Juicery product through engagement and education
- Being an outgoing force for the brand, offering samples and engaging with each customer that passes by
- Explaining the breakdown and benefits of each product (training to be provided)
- Collecting feedback on customers’ comments on products, as well as overall marketplace conditions
- Maintaining a tidy, well-presented and well-merchandised space
- Identifying opportunities for increased engagement and sales
- Completing the daily inventory and spoilage counts
- Multi-tasking between various customers and the needs of the space
- Arriving promptly to shifts and prepared for the day
- Serving and preparation of food and drinks including Smoothies and Kombucha
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience in a customer service/customer engagement
- Likes to work in a busy store
- Enjoys engaging, educational dialogue about nutrition and wellness and have a genuine commitment to customer service
- Is passionate about 100% organic plant-based nutrition
- A well-spoken, dedicated, hard-working and outgoing personality
- A nutritional background (is considered an asset)
- Smart Serve Certificate considered an asset

- Compensation: $18/hour plus variable comp
