Customer Service Executive

Overnight Parcel Department,

Abingdon Office

Swift Logistics Group, one of Newbury’s largest employers and the largest independent courier company in the South of England, has, over recent years, coordinated significant growth of their Logistics Division’s across the UK; we are currently looking for candidates that want to join a well- established and professional overnight parcel delivery company based at our offices in Milton Park, Abingdon. You will be working for a very friendly and supportive company with many opportunities to progress within the business for the right candidate.

Job Description:

The job role requires the following –

  • Answering telephones
  • Following up on customer’s parcel delivery issues
  • Dealing with general queries and other administration functions
  • Hours of work are between 8.00am - 6pm (These can be flexible, negotiable and adjusted to 8 hours a day between these times) - Monday to Friday.

Candidate requirement:

  • The ideal candidate will need to work well under pressure, working within a very fast paced environment which is deadline driven
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Have a ‘Can-Do’ attitude and be willing to go the extra step to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Must be a strong team player but also work well using their own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • The candidate will ideally have experience in the parcel and logistic industry but this is not essential as full training will be provided

In return we offer a competitive salary (which can be negotiated based on experience). Full training and support in all aspects of the role will be provided.
