Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more, according to our established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, brewing stations, and dining areas.
  • Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed, ensuring that inventory levels are properly maintained.
  • Operate the cash register and other Café equipment.
  • Make Cash deposits as per company policy and maintain safe, secure cash handling.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow proper food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of coffee, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to deliver an exceptional coffee experience.
  • Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
  • Promote Matari Coffee concept and make upsell suggestions.
  • Report to work promptly, neatly groomed and in uniform.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to candidates with a strong CS skills..
  • Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

Salary: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
