Lascar is a market-leading UK electronics company based in Whiteparish, near Salisbury. We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy and expanding Sales team, to be a helpful and friendly first point of contact for new and existing customers. This is a busy and varied role requiring an excellent telephone manner and high attention to detail.
Main Duties:
- First point of contact for customers (either by telephone or e-mail), dealing with sales enquiries;
- Administrative duties such as processing sales orders, raising new quotations, issuing credit notes etc;
- Processing web orders and Worldpay payments;
- Running daily sales reports as required.
- Maintaining the sales database with customer details and amending where necessary;
- Liaising with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Good numeracy and IT skills;
- Ability to work actively within a team, with minimum supervision;
- Willingness to learn and develop (full training is provided).
Benefits:
- Salary: up to £23,000 depending on skills and experience.
- Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on a Friday.
- Holiday: Starting entitlement is 22 days plus Bank Holidays – this increases each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.
- Sabbatical: One month paid sabbatical after 6 years of work.
