Position is responsible for sustaining a supportive team-focused environment, which enables staff to develop and maintain sound operational practices. The position Leads Domain Process area of Supply Chain which supports SAP ERP processes and ancillary technologies. This position leads and oversees the day-to-day activities of IT Analysts in a Demand and Supply Network Planning, Production Execution, Procurement and Transportation functional domain area which provide functional and technical support within a global ERP template, non-ERP systems and integrations. Position works to execute resource efforts in alignment with business and IT strategies. They will manage on-site support capacity as an extension to the Enterprise Applications team where needed. Responsible for change requests, incident resolution, project planning, and implementations as applicable to the Supply Chain process area. The Supply Chain Lead will support the IT Director in collaborating with the business in the Supply Chain and Plant Operations process area to identify continuous improvement opportunities that further enhance business performance and create benefits. Strong leadership and a keen customer service orientation that promotes partnership with the business is key to success. Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee IT Applications Supply Chain area analysts ensuring efficient support and execution of project deliverables on time and on budget, ensuring risks are controlled that issues are managed and escalated as appropriate, and key decisions are communicated and formalized
- Allocate team resources and expertise required by both operational and project based initiatives;
- Create a positive working environment for the team, which inspires high productivity and cohesive teamwork;
- Demonstrate commitment to performance management and staff development through annual performance reviews, career development and training plans for team members;
- Lead Supply Chain process and functional support for SAP ERP enabled business solutions deployed throughout the organization including integrations and SAP IDOC integration; application and technical support for non-ERP systems (heritage and legacy) specific to the Supply Chain and Production Operations domain
- Actively support all IT solutions within domain area by troubleshooting and resolving assigned tickets within agreed upon SLAs
- Engage with division Supply Chain Business Process Owners (BPOs), Super Users (SUs), and IT BRM to help identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities; leverage existing technology investments and leading practice solutions to drive value realization
- Manage relationship with Applications Managed Services Leads as the point of contact for the domain area
- Maintain scheduled site visit rotation for major facilities and make IT on-site presence available as required; develop and foster relationship/partnership with the business, gain in-depth knowledge of the Supply Chain and Production operations, and identify challenges and/or opportunities where IT support may be needed
- Direct involvement in project initiatives as it relates to the Supply Chain domain area; fulfill local project lead role(s) where applicable considering scope/complexity
- Work with the Supply Chain and Operations business stakeholders, BPOs, BRM and IT Director to gather requirements, formalize deliverables, define and coordinate resources, and provide input to project scope and outcomes; develop and maintain project materials and other documentation (i.e., charters, status reports, issue/risk logs, etc.) as needed in alignment with IT Director and PMO governance
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and leading practices within IT
- Work with remote teams both business and IT across multiple geographies
- Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including, but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Desired Experience
- Experience integrating SAP Supply Chain solutions into a broad array of non-legacy technologies and architectures
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices especially with respect to the CPG industry with a Direct Store and Warehouse Delivery business model
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
Desired Education
- College degree preferred; will consider equivalent IT work-related experience
- An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, finance, business management or a related field. MIS, CIS or business-related degree is preferred
