Job description

Role: Customer Services Administrator

Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: £22-24k

Location: Dodworth, Barnsley

Start date: ASAP

First Choice have an exciting opportunity to join our client, an established fast-growing discount wholesaler.

We are searching for a customer services administrator to assist with their ever-increasing customer base.

Your key duties will include:

  • Liaising with customers and our transport partners to arrange deliveries of orders.
  • Problem solving with customers to resolve issues, processing credit note and arranging collections if necessary.
  • Working closely with our warehouse team, overseeing the dispatch process.
  • Investigating customer issues thoroughly, such as mis-picks, damages and delivery problems.
  • Responding to customers via email and over the phone with enquires including, advising on stock levels, pricing, delivery dates, product information etc.
  • Producing commercial documents for Export.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders to book deliveries of inbound containers.
  • Other general administrative duties.

The successful candidate will:

  • Education - A-Level or equivalent.
  • Excellent working proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of other common Office software such as Word and Outlook
  • Organised and ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Have a can-do attitude with an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
  • Experience within a wholesale function would be desirable.
  • Gain an understanding of products sold to answer customer queries effectively.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the ability to form positive relationships, both internally and externally.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
