Federation of Organizations is seeking a Part Time Customer Service Representative who is responsible for all task related to the delivery of transportation requests.
Department: Transportation Dept.
Hours: 20 Hours per week AM/PM (Part-Time)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a High School diploma/GED and or 2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communications, good listening, questioning and call control techniques. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor in the workplace. Must be able to sit for an extended period of time. Bi-lingual experience not required, but a plus. Fingerprinting, criminal record check and approval from NYS Office of Mental Health
JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for coordinating incoming transportation requests as well as maintaining an up to date record for calls and services. Provides customer service and personal assistance via phone, serving as the first line of support for clients’ transportation needs. Responsible for contacting and arranging the transportation trips for clients to and from destinations, interfacing with transportation companies and Mental Health Agencies. Perform clerical duties such as but not limited to; answering phone calls, faxing and emails.
