As a Studio and Server Support Representative , you will be involved in many of the day-to-day duties relating to support, administration, organisation and communication, assisting both the marketing & development teams with clients, client work and associated projects.
Your expertise in managing client support requests and adding and changing DNS settings, as well as supporting server configurations, Wordpress website development and administration in a digital agency will be vital to your success in the role. You will also have the opportunity to support and develop your understanding across the business, and can expect the full support of your co-workers as well as guidance in all your ventures. We are always looking to develop talent and nurture ability, and offer opportunities for further industry training.
Responsibilities
Duties will include first point of contact for all incoming requests, client & stakeholder communication and account management and the creation & distribution of documentation while using & updating the internal systems and processes of the company. You will also be expected to assist and support the digital marketing and studio managers at their discretion.
You will be expected to use your own initiative when working to given specifications and timescales. Training will be provided for specific tools and content management systems.
Main daily/weekly activities:
- First point of contact, for all incoming requests.
- Maintain service support desk and make sure all tickets are dealt with promptly.
- Communicate and manage relationships with clients verbally and in writing/email.
- Lead small IT projects and contribute your knowledge to the team.
- Observe network and system monitoring tools to minimise downtime.
- Assist with the maintenance of core IT infrastructure and software.
- Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager and the Studio Manager with the daily business operations, project management & supporting with ad-hoc responsibilities.
- Administration duties include creating, following up and storing documentation.
- Working with internal and external development teams to ensure tasks are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Manage multiple domains and DNS, making changes where required.
- Facilitating the process of pushing websites live.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Development and website management on WordPress.
- Exceptionally well organised and confident in managing a busy workload
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Team player and self-starter
- Experience managing client relationships or in a public-facing job
- Understanding of FTP, website file and database structure, comfortable moving hosting providers and data transfers.
- Past experience with firewalls and whitelisting.
