Job description
ASAP Printing is seeking a Customer Service Representative with graphic design experience to join our team. This is a full-time position with working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The ideal candidate should display authentic enthusiasm towards assisting customers, and have strong communication abilities, including active listening skills. They should also demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in communication. Additionally, they should possess effective problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer requests via phone, walk-in, e-mail, and fax
- Educate customers about printing to develop and maintain long-standing relationships
- Submit proofs to customers and facilitate corrections or approvals from that customer
- Enter data for new orders; pull information and samples on past jobs for reorder
- Communicate customer desires regarding design, paper, time frame, etc., to other staff members
- Work with outside vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and services to fulfill customer requests
- File completed job tickets for organized storage
- Perform general office duties (ordering supplies, mailing invoices, stuffing envelopes, collating, etc.)
Requirements:
· A strong computer aptitude and typing skills with experience in Microsoft Office
· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Applicant should be able to communicate with customers and successfully relay that information to other staff members
· A background in Commercial Printing or Graphics Arts
· Graphic design training is a significant benefit
· The ability to demonstrate the highest level of organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and time management to meet tight deadlines and a variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment
· Strong attention to detail to capture customer requests and communicate with the appropriate person
· A desire and enjoyment to work closely with other employees
