Customer Onboarding Specialist (KYC) | Hammersmith, London (hybrid working with 3 days in our new Hammersmith office per week is required)

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you will play a pivotal role in the continued stability and growth of our organisation, by serving as a front-line representative for GetGround ensuring a seamless, professional and world class experience for our customers within our Customer Operations team.

What you will do

  • Conducting initial due diligence and undertaking risk based analysis on proposed new customers
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory, AML and JMLSG rules and guidelines
  • Escalating issues to the Customer Operations Team Lead and the Compliance team
  • Interacting in a professional manner directly with our customers, primarily by email but also over the phone
  • Ensuring customers experience an efficient and seamless process during the different stages of onboarding with us
  • Contributing to improving our processes and ensuring they are well documented
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
  • Contributing to achieving quarterly Operations Team objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Ensuring internal systems are up to date with relevant documents and data
  • Conducting ongoing due diligence using third party screening software

The skills and experience you will have:

Essential:

  • 1-2+ years experience working in customer onboarding as a KYC specialist/analyst
  • Knowledge of relevant regulation e.g AML
  • Experience with conducting due diligence on individuals and entities using a risk based approach
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively across competing demands
  • Able to act independently on own initiative

Desirable:

  • An understanding of company structures
  • An understanding of the property industry
