About the team
Our Customer Happiness team does just that, they keep our customers happy! We take pride in our approach to customer care, always going the extra mile. The team is responsible for managing all customer communications and queries via different channels. From responding to tweets, and answering calls, to managing the inbox, the Customer Happiness team helps make the world a more thortful place, one customer interaction at a time.
The team operates 7 days a week between the hours of 9am - 6pm so shifts are allocated accordingly, taking into account everyone's preferences.
What you’ll be doing
- We’re looking for people to help us out during our Mother's Day season by working 7-9 shifts between the 13th and 23rd March – with potential to stay on a bit longer depending on demand.
- Learning and adapting to our internal processes; we’re looking for people who are quick to learn and eager to help.
- Communicating with our customers across different comms’ channels (mainly email and phones) – you’ll need to be friendly, professional, and able to take the initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
About you
- You are self-motivated and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- You are quick to digest new information and eager to learn
- You pay attention to detail while being quick on your feet
- You have a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a good sense of humour
- You can multitask independently but are not afraid to ask for help when needed
- You are comfortable handling large volumes of customer enquiries while working towards targets
- You have experience in customer services or sales (desirable but not essential)
The logistical bits
- Hourly rate of £11 per hour and opportunity for overtime based on demand
- 7 to 9 shifts across two weeks
- Shifts allocated on a rota basis (likely to include weekends)
- 9am-6pm shifts (with a one hour unpaid lunch break)
- Fully remote work – as we experience high volumes of enquiries, you will need an internet connection speed of at least 20MB, your own computer & headphones with a microphone
- Online self-service training provided (including video tutorials and process flowcharts) during the temping period
