Job Advert The Howard Assembly Room, Kino & Opera North The Howard Assembly Room is a captivating, inspiring performance venue in the heart of Leeds city centre. This beautifully restored venue is loved for its rich and varied programme of music, film, words, and performance and has welcomed world-class musicians and performers. Kino is a Leeds city centre restaurant and bar, presenting the best independent food, beers and wines. Our Head Chef is former MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Josh Whitehead, whose memorable dishes make the most of the incredible produce available in our region. You’ll find Kino a culturally vibrant, warm and welcoming place to spend your time. Both the Howard Assembly Room and Kino are managed by Opera North. Established in 1978, Opera North is an award-winning national opera company based in Leeds. The company’s fresh, vibrant, and inclusive approach to art is reflected in the range of gigs, film screenings, talks, workshops and installations presented within the Howard Assembly Room. Our mission is to: Excite, challenge and entertain our audiences by producing work of the highest artistic standards. Deliver our work to the widest possible audience, acting as a resource for the communities in which we perform, and developing new audiences for our work. Expand the boundaries of performance and challenge peoples’ expectations through, for example, collaborations with other art forms, including film, dance, and visual art. Customer Experience Team Will provide high levels of customer service to all who attend the Howard Assembly Room, Howard Opera Centre and Kino Restaurant. Ensuring all visitors receive a positive customer experience, proactive customer care and secondary sales, whilst always ensuring their comfort and safety. To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of customer care and service according to company guidelines. Consistently work towards both Howard Assembly Room and Kino vision.
