We are currently recruiting for an Customer Contact Agent.

Experience in the Financial Services industry is not essential as training will be provided.

This role is home based however the first 2 weeks would be based at our Manchester office at Think Park (M17) so the successful candidate will need to live in a commutable distance from M17.

Role Purpose:

The Customer Contact Agent is responsible for inbound & outbound telephony contact with our customers, providing an outstanding level of service, ensuring their secured loan or mortgage enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and accurate manner, with fair customer outcomes at the heart of everything they do.

You must have the strength and resilience to handle high call volumes whilst demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service.

Role and Responsibilities


  • Conduct outbound calls in response to customer enquiries
  • Ensure that all callbacks are actioned on time and at customers request
  • Attain and maintain competence under the IL Training and Competence Scheme
  • Achieve individual daily, weekly, and monthly key performance targets as well as contributing to the overall departmental targets
  • Ensure calls are compliant and the call structure provided is followed at all times
  • To take inbound calls as and when required
  • Carry out all duties in a manner that reflects Intelligent lending’s’ principles at all times
  • Undertake any further duties determined as reasonable and necessary in the fulfillment of the role
  • Any other reasonable duties set out by the business.

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent communication skills (Confidence - has the ability to proactively build customer relationships)
  • Self-motivated/Self Driven
  • Passionate about delivering positive outcomes for customers
