The GI Customer Communications team are responsible for the oversight and control of communications across all business lines. Ranging from digital new business on price comparison sites, through strategic partners and brokers, onto Commercial and corporate business. The team facilitate and oversee deliveries extending from small urgent enhancements to being part of large project teams.
A bit about the job:
You will become a part of the leadership team. Responsible for leading and supporting a group of technical consultants. You will support and encourage the team to champion the best outcomes for our customers while delivering against strategy. Working on all types of customer communications both digital and physical, you will gain experience of leading a communications team across both small business enhancements and strategic project deliveries.
You’ll need to be enthusiastic, organised, and comfortable to ask questions and seek answers. Your team will look to you as a role model, providing priority guidance and direction, managing a broad portfolio of activity.
Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role can be based anywhere commutable to; Norwich, Eastleigh, Glasgow, Perth, Sheffield, Bristol and York.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Able to lead others. Ability to inspire and lead a high performing technical team.
- Strong communicator. Comfortable driving change and influencing stakeholders to deliver the best customer outcome
- Experience of General insurance and the regulatory landscape.
- Able to adapt to new situations, uncertainty, and the ability to learn new skills
- Continuous improvement. Ability to think business wide, consider the bigger picture and deliver longer term strategy.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
