Job description

Higgs Building Services specialises in Customer Care work for National House Builders and refurbishment works.

Due to our continued growth we are looking for someone to join the team at Higgs to manage their own clients providing excellent customer service along with the Customer Service Team.

The Role

  • In the office you will be the intial point of contact for own clients. On receipt of work instructions – arrange inspections/quotes as applicable; schedule the relevant skillset; contact the residents to make appointments; source materials/plant
  • From the office check stores for materials and place orders where necessary, providing purchase order numbers to suppliers
  • Manage instructions, updating all aspects on the in-house Clixifix database as well as regular updates to the clients, planning and prioritising work in order to meet targets and deadlines
  • Answering telephone calls from clients and residents, adding details to instructions and updating database
  • Issuing clear instructions prior to works and checking in with operatives on a daily basis
  • Manage a high volume of emails in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met
  • Prepare weekly trackers to be shared with clients
  • General administration duties including writing letters / emails to customers and residents
  • Check operatives day sheets - collating work orders, day sheets, receipts for invoicing purposes

The ideal candidate will...

  • have 3 years EXPERIENCE of dealing with customers in New Build Customer Care or the Construction Industry
  • have experience working in a busy and fast paced office
  • have previous experience working with clients, engineers and dealing with residents
  • have a confident telephone manner and a sense of humour would be an advantage
  • deliver excellent customer service
  • have strong communication skills and be able to cope with a high volume of calls and emails in a timely manner delivering targets
  • have a positive and flexible approach to work
  • have the ability to multi-task
  • have good problem-solving skill
  • be a good team player

Salary is dependant on experience

Hours negotiable
