At Vet Direct, we're currently seeking a Customer Care Advisor to join our friendly, supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Process orders accurately and advise customers of stock availability, alternatives and promise dates
- Share your knowledge with customers to ensure they understand the product and how to use it
- Make outbound calls to convert quotes and abandoned baskets to sales
- Ensure all data fields are captured and updated accordingly with the customer
- Have a proactive approach to gaining understanding of the customers' need or complaint and provide appropriate resolution that is commercially viable
- Maintain good customer and colleague relationships through effective and positive communication both written and verbal
Key skills and experience required:
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and ability to learn about veterinary products and services and describe/explain them to customers
- Experience of customer care and/or telesales, preferred but an ability to resolve issues in a commercially viable way essential
- A team player with a high level of dedication and positive work ethos
