NHS SBS is currently seeking expert Customer Collections Advisors to recover public funding on behalf of dozens of NHS organisations. All whilst providing outstanding customer service via our dedicated inbound phone lines and email inbox.

This is a hybrid working role and our modern office environment, close to the White Rose Shopping Centre has ample free parking, onsite refreshments. As a new employee during the initial 3-month induction period, you will attend the offices for 2 to 3 days a week for your initial training and support.
Usual office requirements are 1 to 2 days following successful completion of the required training, but you may, on occasion, be asked to attend more frequently in line with business and client needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Connect with debtors via an inbound telephone line and central collections mailbox, using your knowledge debt collection strategies to recover unpaid invoices for various goods and services
- Ensure all debtor accounts are thoroughly reviewed to understand the full background of each individual case and updated after each interaction, including notes and status changes
- Resolve queries regarding invoices and set up plans for debt repayment
- Assessing each debtor’s circumstances to resolve disputes over the phone, resulting in an amicable outcome for both the debtor and the business
- Work towards achieving daily and monthly targets both individually and as a team
What you’ll bring:
- A demonstrable history of working to and achieving targets and objectives in a FCA regulated Collections environment
- Good verbal and written communication and listening skills, with a confident and friendly telephone manner
- Excellent administrative skills
- IT literate - A good knowledge of computers and office software, including Microsoft Office
