We are looking for the enthusiastic Customer Service Advisors to work in our Customer Service and Renewals department!

Salary:
- £21,400 Per Annum with a 5% additional annual bonus for our Customer Service Advisors
- £22,732 Per Annum with a 5% additional annual bonus for our Renewals Advisors
Hours:
- Our Customer Service Advisors work 37.5 hours a week. Between the hours of 08:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday. Depending on how your rota falls, you will work 3-4 weekends out of 8, 9:00-17:00 on Saturdays and 09:00-13:00 on Sundays.
- Our Renewals Advisors work Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week, between the hours of 08:00 – 19:00.
Location:
Here at Hastings Direct we work on a hybrid working model. We work from our vibrant, modern Leicester City Centre office 1-2 days a week and the rest of the week from the comfort of our own homes.

What will my day to day look like?
You will be working within our inbound call centre, addressing a diverse range of customer queries submitted via telephone, email or live chat. Unlike other contact centres, there is no cold calling involved in this role, you will only speak to our existing customers who have contacted us for help or new customers who’d like to get a policy with us.
Depending on department, the queries you receive will be varied; they could include changes to existing policies, giving quotes for new policies, supporting claims and retaining customers who are looking to cancel with us.
What skills do I need to have to be considered for the role?
Computer skills are necessary as you will be navigating our in-house software whilst holding a conversation with your customer.
- To become a Customer Service Advisor an insurance background is not necessary, we see many skills as transferrable, if you have a background in general customer service whether its retail based, hospitality experience or even just an interest to start a career within customer service we’d love to hear from you.
- To become a Renewals Advisor you will need to be able to demonstrate experience within an office based, contact centre or sales environment. You must have the ability to influence, overcome objections and drive a positive resolution.
