The Night Cleaner is a position integral to the success of the hotel and the maintenance of the facility. The Night Cleaner is responsible for meticulously cleaning the entire property and taking pride in a spotless, well cared for environment that instills a sense of comfort and trust for our guests. The Night Cleaner takes initiative and thinks outside the box when necessary to go beyond their regular routine, persevering until the property is ready to receive guests.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain all types of flooring; vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing
- Dust furniture, trim work, stairs, door frames, corners, etc. to ensure dust free surfaces
- Wash interior windows as required and polish all glass & mirrored surfaces daily to a spotless finish
- Pick up any debris from around the property and restore any out of place items to their appropriate locations
- Clean and disinfect all washroom fixtures - toilets, sinks, urinals, counters, taps
- Replenish par levels of toilet tissue, paper towels, tissue, etc in the washrooms
- Prepare the Cleaning Closet and Cart for the day, stocking all supplies as required
- Organize cleaning supplies, ensuring all the necessary labels are in place and easy to read
- Ensure tools such as wet floor signs, mops, vacuums, etc are taken care of, stored properly and well maintained to ensure maximum equipment life
- Adhere to the Daily Cleaning “To Do” List, ensuring all items are completed in a timely manner
- Any other duties or tasks assigned by leader on duty
