An excellent career enhancing opportunity has become available and we are now seeking to appoint an ambitious aspiring leader as Curriculum Manager at Hartlepool Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will lead two Curriculum Academies (approximately half of the College provision) which are STEM and Digital and Humanities and Social Sciences.
You will be an experienced, dynamic and values-based leader to ensure excellence in the Quality of Education. You will further develop a careers focused curriculum, aligned to local, regional and national skills priorities and foster stronger school and industry partnerships within subject areas of responsibility. You will also be required to empower staff teams and drive outstanding learning opportunities for students.
To meet our expectations, you must have a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities. You must be able to demonstrate a track record of successful programme or curriculum leadership and be skilled in motivating and empowering staff and students to raise aspirations. You will also be able to lead a curriculum fit for the future, reflective of the highest industry practice and standards.
This role requires an innovative leader, who is expected to have a significant positive impact on the experience, progress and destination of our students. The successful candidate will improve quality, teaching, learning and assessment across all curriculum areas of responsibility and working with the Campus Principal, raise them to the highest possible standards.
