Culture and Tourism- Summer Degree Intern

We would like to present an excellent opportunity for first- and second-year degree students interested in working in Local Authority and Transformation. You will need to be available from June to August inclusive for 30 hours per week.

Details:

June 12th until September 8th

12 weeks fixed term

Monday to Friday (4 days per week to be agreed)

Based at Municipal Offices, Grimsby with potential to visit other sites

We are seeking a committed and motivated student who can work independently in areas which may involve:

Digital marketing including writing, researching, and uploading new website content (for DiscoverNEL and other NELC channels ), supporting with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and analytics.
Promoting culture and heritage projects across North East Lincolnshire
Supporting tourism, culture and heritage events
Supporting with social media, creating new content, research into new channels and developing new ways of working.
Event management support, including keeping the annual events calendar for NEL up to date.
Supporting with data gathering and analysis of tourism, leisure, heritage and culture related statistics and analytics for reporting and monitoring purposes.
Help developing business cases and funding bids for of tourism, leisure, heritage, and culture related projects.
