The CT Scanning department at the world renown Addenbrooke’s (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting.
We are looking for motivated Radiographers who want to further their career as a permanent CT Radiographer (Band 6) role.
In the CT Scanning department, you will be involved in types of imaging that are not carried out anywhere else in the country and in some research instances the world. Due to our close links to the University and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus we can offer the opportunity to work with the most up to date technology, imaging protocols, and be at the forefront of new research and development techniques.
You will be required to carry out a wide range of CT examinations, working both independently and as part of our multi-disciplinary team.
We currently have 5 CT scanners located on the CUH site as one at a near by GP centre.
You will be required to participate in the out of hours service provision and remote working off site at a scanner located at a local GP centre.
You will have DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, proven participation in CPD and must have current HCPC Registration.
Experience in cross-sectional imaging is desirable; full and comprehensive training will be provided.
- To work within our multi-disciplinary team.
- To carry out clinical and administrative work in CT in order to provide an excellent service to our patients and referrers.
- Principally based in the CT scanning department. This post may involve a flexible rotation through other radiology departments in line with future service development.

A welcome subsidy of £1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
