Job description
Mian & Co Solicitors are a long established specialist criminal firm in central Birmingham.
We are looking for an experienced criminal defence paralegal to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated, take pride in their work and have the ability to conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner.
Excellent communication and drafting skills and first-class client care are essential.
This is a paralegal position with a potential to progress to qualification as a Solicitor in the future for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners in preparation of their cases
- Legal Aid applications
- Assisting with Lexcel compliance
- Attending Court and conferences
- Conduct legal research
The applicant should have a minimum of 1 year experience working within criminal law. The successful candidate will be motivated to perform at a high level whilst being keen to learn, have very good interpersonal skills and be a great team player.
The role is full time Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. We offer a competitive salary.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
