Founded in 2002, we are an established 4 partner firm based in Finsbury Park, London. Our aim is to provide clients with a service of the highest quality at all times and the quality of our work is demonstrated by our high success rates.
Our criminal department specialises in complex crime covering all areas including murder, large scale drugs, serious fraud, rape , firearms, arson, kidnapping and other serious offences. We currently have a team of ten in our criminal department and are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join the team. Applicants must want to develop their career in this area of law.
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Excellent academic results
- Degree educated (preferably in law)
- LPC (desirable but not essential)
- A can do and proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong administrative with good time management and organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills
The ideal candidate will either be seeking a training contract and will do this position for no more than a year before being offered a training contract or will be looking to qualify through the SQE route.
This position is ideal for a self motivated, ambitious individual who want s an opportunity with excellent opportunities for progression.
Criminal law is not 9-5 , candidates must be prepared to be flexible and go beyond!
You will work as part of a small team, supporting a very busy Director. Duties will include attending new clients, obtaining instructions, assessment of the client's financial means, correspondence, preparing of defense cases for trial, arranging and attending conferences, obtaining and reviewing evidence and statements, opening and closing files.
You will be required to ensure that all work carried out meets the LAA, Lexcel and Solicitors code of conduct.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
