Leicestershire Police are currently recruiting for Crime Scene Investigators Tier 2 in our Forensic Services Department
As a qualified and experienced Crime Scene Investigator, you will carry out crime scene investigations and a range of forensic analysis and evidence handling as part of the investigation process.
Providing a comprehensive, efficient, and effective service for local and regional crime scene examinations. Using your knowledge in crime scene examination and other related forensic processes, you will maximise the forensic opportunities available to the force to aid the investigative and criminal justice processes.
You’ll be carrying out extensive investigations and using a range of forensic analysis and evidence handling to help protect our community and support in bringing criminals to justice.
