Full Package - Linked grade Band 3G Tier 2 package will start circa £30,175 per annum plus 18% shift allowance, 5% on call allowance and 15.5% criticality allowance increasing to Band 3H Tier 3 circa £34,545 per annum plus of 18% shift allowance, 5% on call allowance and 12.5% criticality allowance depending on progression plus benefits.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) is making a significant, multi-year investment in our Forensic Services and is transforming our wide array of forensic disciplines, to create a forward looking, accredited service which delivers proportionate, timely services that support effective crime investigation for the populations of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
As part of the overall investment into Forensic Services within Thames Valley Police, we are seeking to attract and recruit experienced CSIs at Tier 2 level, in particular those CSIs that have already completed a recognised CSI Stage 2 course (or equivalent) and are currently competent to examine the most serious and challenging crime scenes. You will already possess a proven background in Crime Scene Examination with demonstrable performance at the highest level.

In addition to the remuneration and benefits offered with this position, the Tier 2 CSI role has a linked grade progression and development pathway to become a Tier 3 CSI (achieved through additional training and CPD, which w-ill include Crime Scene Management and Leadership skills).
